Agawam, Massachusetts:
I picked up my son from his after school program and found a (very heavy) jar in his backpack along with a wrapped box of Legos and copy of the book. I am a single mother with a wonderful young son trying to do the best for him and make ends meet while going to school. I have family but not close enough to help much.
This gift was a phenomenal boost to help the holidays be brighter but also to model for my son the value of giving back and being grateful. Thank you so much, it is truly appreciated. And we will be setting up our own jar at the start of the new year.
