This past few weeks have been nothing if not trying for our family. With my heart surgery and subsequent loss of income due to not being able to work, our church, neighbors and community have stepped up with gifts, food and currency to help us through our troubled times. At times I have looked at our Christmas Jar and wondered if we should use the money ourselves, but the money that is there could not buy the feeling we will share as a family if we do not pass along the good fortune of the blessings that we have received. More than what those jars hold on the inside is what the jars hold as a purpose; the true meaning of the Christmas season.
May God continue to bless you all.
