My daughter received a bag that was placed anonymously on her front porch that first Christmas she and her son were alone. The lovely bag contained a canning jar filled with coins and the Christmas Jar book. I read the book at that time and started tossing coins in a jar for the next Christmas. This past December I gave my fifth secret Santa Christmas jar to a cancer unit at the hospital he spent so much time in for a year. The nurses choose the patient for me, and that little effort on my part is the best part of my holiday season. Thanks for sharing your story - wishing you and your son a Happy, Healthy and Blessed 2013.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
