Christmas Jar Story: 'This is our second year to give away a Christmas Jar'

Knoxville, TN:

This is our 2nd yr. to give away a Christmas jar and selected my brother & his family because he was diagnosed with colon cancer this year. They have suffered immensely from his illness but also his lack of income from being unable to work. My sister-in-law was trying to work to provide income but had a fall and broke her leg, which resulted in her unemployment also. My brother is still undergoing chemo and we just pray that our jar given anonymously will provide something special they needed, perhaps for their twin grandchildren but it is a joy we love the most about doing at this blessed time of year. Please keep Jim & Donna in your prayers for 2011.
